After trying desperately to get NTFS-3G to cooperate with my system, I finally settled for another project named Linux-NTFS (apt-get install ntfsprogs). I found out about it from “Gordon’s Toy” after querying Google about NTFS-3G and Debian.

Update (11/25/07):

After getting some time to follow the instruction here, which the “Gordon’s Toy” post links to, I got NTFS-3G to work nicely :).
